The velvet title was missleading, it feels like an unribbed corduroy, almost like a blanket. The fit would have been excellent if not for incorrect size being sent. Although, I must say know your size. I was sent one size up, and this item runs very large. The lapel covered my shirt completely and was overlapping upon itself unlike the photo in the online store. This item also had very poor plastic buttons that had a dull shine. It should be noted that this is double breasted, and looks very odd if left unbuttoned. Overall, this item with all of it's flaws, still looks rather nice from afar, but is not worth it's price.
